Movie-Gate is the new DVD film rental service from Valora Media Switzerland. As from 3 December 2007, film fans in Switzerland can borrow their films of choice over the internet at www.movie-gate.ch and send them back by post.

Whether it’s a new film, a classic, action, comedy or favourite film – Movie-Gate has a steadily growing selection of thousands of film titles in all the usual categories, at sensationally low subscription costs. For example, as many films of choice as the customer likes are available together for as little as CHF 6.- per week.

The customer can choose between different types of subscription. However, whichever type of subscription is chosen: the Movie-Gate customer is sent several films and only returns the ones he has seen. So he always has his films of choice readily available. No fixed dates to return them, no additional borrowing fees. Films are sent by post, quickly, discreetly and free of charge in plain envelopes. Using the attractive bonus programme, Movie-Stars, Movie-Gate customers can also win points and extend their subscription. The offer is open to all film fans aged 18 and over.

This is how it works
1. buy a voucher at any of the 1050+ k kiosk retail outlets
2. log on to www.movie-gate.ch and select subscription
3. compile a personal wish list of films
4. receive selected films on DVD in plain envelope through the post
5. enjoy the films
6. send films back and receive more films from your Movie-Gate wish list
