Valora Holding AG has sold its building located in the Hofackerstrasse in Muttenz to real-estate company sitEX Properties AG as of October 1, 2012. Valora will maintain its headquarters in the building and has concluded a long-term usufruct agreement with the purchaser to that end. The Handelshaus Muttenz facility will become the LAGONDA building, combining multi-purpose commercial and office-space elements.
Valora’s sale of the HHM building represents a further step in the implementation of its corporate strategy, which is focused on activities in the Group’s core areas of expertise. The transaction will also enable the specialist real-estate company gribi theurillat to market the vacant floorspace currently available in the building. Both parties to the transaction have agreed that the purchase price will remain confidential.
