FEMSA schliesst Akquisition von Valora ab

Einleitung der Squeeze-out- und Dekotierungs-Verfahren für die Valora-Aktien  

Monterrey, Mexiko / Muttenz, Schweiz, 10. Oktober 2022 – Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V. («FEMSA»; BMV: FEMSAUBD.MX; FEMSAUB.MX; NYSE: FMX) gibt heute den Vollzug des öffentlichen Kaufangebots («Angebot») ihrer hundertprozentigen Tochtergesellschaft, Impulsora de Marcas e Intangibles, S.A. de C.V., zum Erwerb aller sich im Publikum befindenden Namenaktien von Valora Holding AG («Valora»; SIX: VALN) bekannt. Wie erwartet wurde die Transaktion am 7. Oktober 2022 erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

FEMSA hält derzeit 97.77% des ausgegebenen Aktienkapitals von Valora und beabsichtigt, ein Squeeze-Out-Verfahren einzuleiten und die Kraftloserklärung der verbleibenden, sich im Publikum befindenden Aktien zu beantragen. FEMSA beabsichtigt zudem, die Valora-Aktien von der SIX Swiss Exchange zu dekotieren.
