Valora Group nominates Roberto Fedele as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Roberto Fedele, born in 1972, will take up his new post as Valora's Chief Information Officer (CIO) on November 1, 2014. Mr. Fedele has broad, multi-faceted professional experience in system catering, management consultancy and banking.

Since 2009, he has been CIO of the SV Group, managing that firm's information-technology services. Prior to that he worked for some ten years at Exsigno AG (Deloitte Consulting AG), initially as a management consultant, and subsequently as a partner, senior manager and member of the extended management committee. From 1989 to 1998 he worked at Credit Suisse as a client advisor in retail and private banking. Roberto Fedele holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Bern and an MBA from the University of Rochester in the United States.

Roberto Fedele will join Valora's Extended Group Executive Management team, succeeding Markus Guggenbühler, who is taking up a new position outside Valora. The key focus of Mr. Fedele's duties will be on implementing Valora's forward-looking IT strategy.
